West Rosebud

Went to the Spillway on Saturday and despite the 50mph frigid wind, the ice was thin and slushy with lots of water still flowing up top. Given the conditions, we decided not to rap in. Anti-Duct looks to be in great shape, however it may be thin and a bit funky topping out.

There is a lot of ice in the west rosebud right now, and with the cold snap, the river should be crossable. I dont know about road conditions after the last dump of snow (Jan 10/11) When we were there on the 10th the Antiduct was in great shape and most of the climbs in the spillway area looked to be in. Down by Emerald lake there was quite a bit of ice around and Extreme Bud looked to be in as well as a few others whose names I'm not sure of. -Olin
