We climbed what we called sticky bud yesterday. It is up west rosebud, before the spillway if you take the powerline approach. We couldnt find it in any of the giude books, does any know if it hase been climbed? It is a great route of WI3, and is about 120m long. It looks as if a nice curtin will form for a good 2nd WI4 pitch soon. Ron Pedrosa,Forest Tompson and myself had a great day out. Anti duct, Angies falls, and a few lower Bud routs look great. Diddnt look at the spillway but highly reccomend this new route on youre way to check out the spillway. Follow the powerlines. "Staying just off the river bed" to the tallous on the left side of the canyon. It should come into sight about the time you spot the anti duct. You can't miss this beautiful yellow, green line, Ron put up a nice lead on the 2nd pitch. Ice belays With two, two rope raps off the trees on the right . Check this one out if you like a good moderate WI3 to WI4, With a nice alpine feel in the beautiful Beartooths . Cheers Chris Bury.....
