I will be an absolute beginner this season so I am starting off knowing no one to climb with. I've got all my own gear to at least do top rope or follow if someone leads (I have boots/crampons, tools, harness, biners, belay, single dry rope, helmet, winter clothing). I also have cross country gear, AT and tele gear, and access to snow shoes and a 4 wheel drive truck to get to more remote climbing places. I am a 25 year old male, bozeman local, and work a regular mon-fri job which leaves me every sat and sun off. I'm going to attend the ice season opener put on by MMA on Dec 19th
I am looking for partners to get on ice every day during the week. Any location, willing to drive. I lead wi4-5, have a full rack, ropes, and a truck.

Moved here last week from GA/TN to climb for the winter. Don't have any climbing friends yet, and my now-white truck leads me to believe it's getting colder.

I am trying to make a trip to ruth gorge/mooses tooth area or little switzerland for some climbing and skiing. looking for a good partner . April or May 2010
Looking for partners in the Helena area for ice, rock, alpine and ski trips into the Front Range/Hylite or where ever. I usually climb moderate routes and will lead. I can follow most other routes. I also enjoy epic slogs with heavy packs. I've been doing this for 10+ years so I have plenty of experience with suffering......I mean having fun.
Figured we should have a new thread for the current year2008/09.
I could use a few more partners for ice mixed or whatever.
