I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska... This, as some of you may know, is not the winter to live here. It's been about 36 degrees for as long as I can remember now, and we're losing 6+ minutes of daylight every day until solstice. I'm considering relocating to Bozeman and continuing my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at MSU. Ice and alpine climbing have become important to me over the last few years, so I'd like to have a look around before I commit to moving... About me: 23 year old male Lead WI4 and 5.8 trad (oh wow, what a badass, huh?) Have rack of screws, ropes, etc.

My name is Jimmy Stewart and I'm pretty much just trying to get out on anything and everything anytime. I'm free Monday-Thursday every week and Sunday until 4 pm. I can lead WI4 and have 7 screws and a rope plus all the other gear. Email littleseal18@gmail.com or call 763 732 3431, there's not much I won't climb. No vehicle but I'll always throw down for gas.

Hello- Name is Chris and I'm looking for ice climbing partners in Bozeman for early winter ice in Hyalite. It's been a few years since I lived in Bozeman ( and a few years since I've climbed ice). I'm currenly a University of Washington graduate student, a bit burned out from classes/research and want to head out to Bozeman for a month or two of ice climbing whenever the ice starts forming in Hyalite and will be in town until the beginning of January.

wow, I just got back into town and it looks like some people have been climbing allrady. thats great that the ice is forming. I hope to make it to the canyon this weekend to climb some stuff. I did not get to climb ice last year so I may be a little rusty. I guess 16 months without pulling up will do that to someone. :) Well I'm hoping for something easy... I might go up to Genesis one and set up a toprope. Does anyone want to go get on it? I have crampons, and one tool. Does anyone have a rope we could use? I really want to get pumped!! Lets do it.
