Description

...No, this isn't that kind of website!
But, you can find like-minded Ice Climbing partners to go enjoy the ice in Hyalite... or beyond!

I'm in bozeman and can climb some weekends and fridays, up for moderate stuff. I'm a somewhat out of shape recovering Parent with lots of past experience. I've got gear and wouldn't mind flailing up behind someone or climbing with someone without much experience. I Just need to get out! I work in a school so I have holiday days too. Tobias

My current partners are busy with life/work so I'm looking for a few more people who have some spare time to do some early (and rest of season) season ice/alpine stuff around the MT area. If you're interested, send me a PM (or call 406-5962) and we can discuss climbing styles, abilities, strange things in your (ok, mine too) personality. Cheers, Brad

I got my computer back! Still seeking partners for climbs as described in my March 13 post. I get enough time off for both local and distant trips. Been doing some alpine/mountaineering stuff lately and getting the itch do do more technical stuff, once the snow condtions are favorable. Really want to get on some rock soon too! Amy

I am a student from Portland who tagged along with a buddy to Jackson for the week. The snow down there was shit so I headed up here and hit up big sky. I have heard Hyalite has some ice left and would love to get out. I can't check my e-mail so call and leave a message (I am checking them). 970-209-9796 Laura I would also be up for some winter climbing in the tetons if that is your thing

hello folks, i'm hoping to keep climbing ice for spring break (28y.o. wwu student). 10 years on ice, solid, and prefer to spend time in the wi4/5 range or harder and mixed climbs. i enjoy 3's once in a while if they're classics. canadian rockies are an alternative, too. hoping some ice is still good. originally a NH climber, currently in bellingham, wa. pm or post and we'll have some good times! :D

Hey everybody, Just moved to Helena from the west coast, and I looking to get out this winter (esp. while the skiing sucks!). I've been climbing for 7 years, mostly rock/alpine. I've done alot of climbing/mountineering in the Sierras. I'm a safe climber and don't mind long horrific approaches. I haven't done much ice, but have all the gear, and am willing to be the belay slave while I learn. I'm also looking to get out on the rock this spring (or winter, the way it's going) Mike

Hello to all, Just wondering how feasible it would be to find a partner to climb if i were able to pass through for a weekend in mid-March. I have some flexibility in my schedule and have to be in ID from March 14-18, but was considering flying in and out of MT to find some ice on one of the adjacent weekends. I have never climbed in the area, but would be game for anything. I have done most of my climbing in the east, with a few trips to canada, but am excited about the pictures i have seen of the west. Thanks for any beta.
