Silver Falls

We climbed Silver Falls on a freezing, sub-zero day. Ice was brittle, and even decided to crack and shudder while on lead. Very exciting.

There's plenty of ice and it's in grade 4 shape. You can also ski the whole way in. There are a few boulders to dodge on the way out. One more storm should pack out the trail well.

Silver Falls

Climbed Silver Falls today, 3.6.2005.

It was fat, chandeliered, and very wet. Crux Pitch was easy WI4. Good moderate ice rambling up to WI3 continue up above for a bonus 2-3 pitches. The Road and trail are easily passable.
