Current Hyalite road conditions?

How are the road conditions up in Hyalite this week(including east fork)?

Is it true the road will no longer be plowed this winter and that the next significant snowfall could shut down the road?

Thanks in advance for the assist!

While the East fork will be closed to cars on Jan 1 the main fork will be open until April 1st.  It is being plowed regularly (if fact, it got plowed yesterday Dec 23rd).  Be cautious, it's still slick up there.  Most climbs are in very good condition right now.  Some of the thinner ones suffered a bit in the last heat wave (e.g. Black Magic seems to be thinner, and Thrill is gone lost some).  Note that from the Unnamed Wall I even saw Dielectric Breakdown survived the heat wave!  Don't know how good the ice is but it's still up, and many other climbs are just getting bigger.

Cleo's is good and the trail is well broken (12/24).  The ice was fairly brittle on the 24th am (cold up there!).  Airborne is not particularly close to touching down.

Climbed Big Sleep about 10 days ago and found great conditions.  First ice bit on the far left had some really dinner platey and rotten ice.  The rock pitch was stellar.  The third ice pitch (crux) was a little thin at the bottom but had some good hooking.  It was also dripping like mad so could have changed a bit.  The fourth pitch was awesome. Fun climbing and a steep pillar in the middle of it.  Have fun getting out there and hope this helps!  Merry Christmas!
