the tusk and g2

On saturday the tusk was quite fat indeed. I climbed a nice little melt freeze gully to the right which eventually met up with that of the tusk proper. Conditions were quite fun and alpinesque in nature. Beautiful views of winterdance from the top of elephant mountain.

On sunday night I went and climbed G2. There was plenty of water running behind it and it was still quite thin. Allthough the sticks were quite nice. Winterdance looked freekin huge! We got the moisture just are lacking the cold.

You can continue to the summit via the gully- supposedly there are four to five pitches of alpine-like ice that you will encounter.

Does the Tusk go beyond the initial pillar up that gully? Can you climb it up to the summit of Elephant mtn?
