I have bolted a new mixed line in the Amphitheater. It starts on the right side of thin chance climbing the ice for 15 feet. There is a new bolt clipable from the ice to the right. The second bolt is shared with sun vow and the new route then continues up and right for 30 more feet to a chain anchor. I give it M6.

We put a rope up on this
We put a rope up on this route today. I was steinpulling on the rock near the first bolt, the rock fractured and popped out. The rock that came out contained the first bolt. Not too surprising for Hyalite. I would be more than happy to replace the bolt, but I have never placed a bolt. Someone want to show me how?
