soI took my wife ice climbing for her first time at G1 on Sunday the 28th , she had a ball
the ice is in great shape on the right side. The left side is pretty good but a tad thin at the top I ended up piercing the ice and chipping the tip of my ice tool.
As of sunday the road WAS plowed up the Hyalite lake/mountain trail head. It was snowing pretty good and the ruts were forming a bit by late afternoon, but the Subarus could get in there no problem.
