Got first tracks on the G1 trail early Saturday morning in deep snow! It just kept falling all day. The trail heading climber's left had completely vanished. Had to peck away with trekking poles to find the stomped crust a foot beneath. Lower Green Sleeves was fat and solid, with spindrift swirling and swishing constantly. Nice alpine feel. Crazy conditions but always worth it.
