Finley Conditions

On Friday the 11th,  Jselwyn and I hit up Finley. Starting from the beginning: Weedeater looks like it is about as much fun as it could be, nice and fat. Foxes Corner's top pitch is massive with tons of water flowing (great hero ice), bottom pitch has a smearing of ice and is flowing heavily. If it would get cold soon it could form up all the way down. The prize though is the Graineater. We haver never seen it so fat. In fact the belay cave was a squeeze to get into.  It is a solid grade 4 right now with a nice steep second half to the second pitch. The first pitch also has more ice than it has had in the last 2 or 3 years. The Thing In Between was nice and fat and heavily flowing. Mule palace had almost no ice at all. The daggers upper ice is quite large but the lower blobs are fairly immature.

The road is not to bad just a bit slippery with less than a foot of snow.
