Hey Everyone!
What an awesome season we had in Hyalite this year! With so many changes in the road access, new routes and simply more collective information on the "typical" conditions of many routes, I'm working on a brand new updated Hyalite ice and mixed guide. I going to do this as a fundraiser for the road plowing fund through Friends of Hyalite. It'll be done in a matter of weeks but I need help with photos!
When I put together Winter Dance in 2003 we didn't have much late season access so most of my original shots are from November/December. I'd like to include a whole new collection showing the routes various times throughout the winter.
Can anyone help? Everyone seems to take lots of butt shots and the professionals take great action shots but I seem to have fewer long shots showing routes and their positions relative to others - you know, the kind of shots that guidebooks really need.
I"d really appreciate it if anyone has photos they'd be willing to contribute! I can offer credit and a copy of a book.
Don't assume I have any descent shots and I need any and every route in Hyalite - all three drainages!
