Checking to see what the ice conditions are like now? Interested in Scepter, Avy gulch and Cleo's conditions? Any info would be great and the road is open until the end of March correct?

Hyalite conditions
Just a quick note on conditions as of 3/5. Climbed Septer and Mummy II . Conditions are as good as they get. It's very warm out but things not directly in the sun all day should remain good for quite some time. I would like to thank the folks who replaced the bad anchor on the top of M II. It now consists of a really bomber 3 bolt anchor! Good job to who ever did this fine work.
I would just like to add that if your just getting into leading ice, now is the time to get out there and try some of those routes you have had your eye on. Scepter, which can be pretty hard; was in about class 4 shape the day I did it. It doesn't get any easier than that! Go get it!
