part of the annual slaughering of Yellowstone bison to prevent bursolosis (sp?) from getting infecting the cow population? :roll: that's one strange policy considering that cattle infected the bison in the first place...

How Ross relates this to ice climbing is a bit of a fetch... guess it is his farm boy roots. The animal in question was a 4 year old bull, raised on a ranch as livestock, dropped with one bullet and will yield #400 of meat (1/3rd cuts the rest burger / sausage). With three boys (17, 13 & 9) this is a good way to feed them quality protein that has not been tainted with hormones.
