Climbed in Mission Cr. on Sun 2/12... ROAD: We were able to rally through the drift at the ranch (after ~20 min. of digging), and make it to the trailhead, avoiding the 1.5+ mile slog from Bruffy Ln. After the initial drift the road is either bare ground or the occational snow patch, with some potential for sliding off. The road is narrow - we were in a Tacoma and still were hitting brush on the sides, so a full size truck might have trouble. The trailhead is pretty snow covered, but there is space to park. ICE: Everything seems to be in and fat - Das Ist Ice looks nothing like it does in WD, with a couple different lines available (3-4). We did Anorexia, which only required a tri-cam and a pin for the rock section (5.easy). Seems like this climb might be a good candidate for a bolt/chain anchor at the top of the 1st pitch, with good rock on the left. Also did Emerald (4), which was also fat, with some overhung wind formations at the top. Took us ~2 hrs to get to the Anorexia/Emerald area...
