Right of Mummy II

Looking from the Unnamed Wall, the routes right of Mummy II (Crypt Orchid, Matrix, Cave & Gully, Feeding the Cat) look as good as they get. The Matrix has formed on the bottom and is thin on the top. Looks hard but is one of the best single pitches in Hyalite. The others are much easier and very worthy. Have fun. JoJo

Just right of Mummy 2, a nice steep curtain has formed (~12-15 m WI 4?). It may have formed in the past?! It can be gained by scrambling up the small gully 25 meters right of Mummy 2. Alternately, it can be linked up in one long pitch: climb up the right side of Mummy 2, traverse right below the rock roof (all easy), and finish up the curtain. Very fun with a good belay tree at the top.

Here is a few photo from the Matrix on Christmas Day, 04. It is probably at least as good, if not better, by now.
