adventure ice

I need partners who are willing to seek out new routes and go where no climbers may have gone before. I'm also interested in known ice routes that don't get alot of climbing (because they're far to get into). I've found waterfalls that have potential to freeze, but won't know until I have a partner to go in there and try them when we think the conditions are good. I've also found ones that were frozen and would like to go back, in hopes of doing some possible first ascents. Most of these potential ice routes are a 2-5 hour drive from Missoula and may require 6-14 miles of snowshoe/ski approach, which much of this depends on how far one can drive on the roads. Camping at the car or in the BC can be expected. Avy savy is a must, as well as on-sighting the unknown. Keep in mind that the ice may not be there, it's a crap shoot...but we'll at least do some mountaineering, skiing, exploring while we're there!

I'm down, I don't have my skiis yet, but I am sure I can borrow some. My name is Ryan and I have been climbing ice for quite a while. I all about adventure climbing.
