Hey guys, I'm Pete, just lookin for some people to climb with. I just got into ice this year, did it once last year but i have many years on rock under my belt. Pete Pvastyan@montana.edu

I'm not from bozeman but I spend at least 2-3 weeks over there during the winter. I would come over more if I had people to climb with. This is my 3rd year so I'm not a pro but we have a lot of fun.

Hey, tomorrow i'm going to scout a lot of hylite's ice. I'll let you know how it is and when it gets good enough we should climb some if you want. Pete

sounds good, I will be over there for sure from Nov 27-Dec 3 and we'll be staying in the cabin up there for 4 of those days so you're welcome to come up.

I've been rock climbing for 10 years and Ice for 4. Let me know if you want to climb. I bought a snowmobile last year so I'm ready when the Hyalite road becomes impassable.

I will most definitely give you a call, we got stuck 3 times last year in Jan. A snowmobile would be great. Let me know when you want to go .

looking for a regular partner or two for the ice season (and beyond). just moved here late last year. hoping to hit some harder stuff up in hyalite, but also some adventurous/less traveled stuff like Cowen in winter, the beartooths, or beehive. would love to check out cody, CA ice, and finally get up to canada. have all equipment (except FWD, snowmobile, or private jet). email: jberwald@gmail.com phone: 406-388-4623

Cabin? :) I can bring lots of beer. Last year I tried the snowmobile way after the road became cluttered with stuck vehicles and it beat me up pretty good.

yeah, anybody whose in the area from Nov28-Dec3 stop by the cabin. We have three people staying there but people are always welcome to come in and have a beer. Look for a yellow xterra.

the cabin is after the resevoir and about a half mile or so from the parking lot, maybe a little further. It's off to the right and I don't think you can see it from the road. You can reserve it for $30 a night from the forest service if you call a little ways in advance. It's basic and small but it's close to the climbing and cheap.

Chris, I may stop in to say hi and have a beer; I'll be climbing Friday and Saturday and hope to see some of you guys up there... Dave, Pete, etc.

Unfortunately not. Tomorrow and Saturday for sure; might stay through Sunday if the weather deteriorates. The next week is shaping up really nice and I think you picked a good week to stay up there.
