Transient ice climber seeks colder temps, daylight.

I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska... This, as some of you may know, is not the winter to live here. It's been about 36 degrees for as long as I can remember now, and we're losing 6+ minutes of daylight every day until solstice. I'm considering relocating to Bozeman and continuing my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at MSU. Ice and alpine climbing have become important to me over the last few years, so I'd like to have a look around before I commit to moving... About me: 23 year old male Lead WI4 and 5.8 trad (oh wow, what a badass, huh?) Have rack of screws, ropes, etc. but would prefer not to take the whole show on the plane. If there are any takers, I plan to visit Bozeman in late December/early January. Ideally I'd stay at the backpacker's hostel, climb a few days, meet some folks, and have a look around town. Any comments are welcome. I'll probably stop by either way, but this will help me decide whether or not to put all the sharp pointy stuff in my bag. Best, Adrian
