Palisades Conditions

Went up to Palisades today. Road is icy down low and hard packed till the palisades turn off, then you would need a 4x4 truck, not subaru friendly. Ice is in fat low down, higher is in and very steep still, a little brittle from the cold but not bad.

Climbed Palisades again 12/25, ice in in fat as usual.

Was up there on Wednesday, Dec. 11th an found it is good shape, even dry on the steeper right side. You can still get up there with a little Subaru like rig. Also found Champagne Sherbet in nice condition, and hiked up to the Killer Pillar - also in.
