Highway 191 Cleanup

Please post here if you plan to help with the highway cleanup. We need to let the DOT know how many people to expect. The DOT will provide yellow safety vests and garbage bags. The Highway Patrol will be notified of our presence and patrol while we are cleaning. 10 AM Saturday 19 April 2008 Spanish Creek junction on Highway 191 (Gallatin Canyon) Bring Gloves Please post your intention before Friday Noon.

Thanks to all that helped out. We'll have a few images in the next day - once KE and Ross check in. We collected a small hill of roadside refuse. Most of the garbage is loose construction material - the stuff that get blown out of trucks. The other "not so good" are the beer cans. I doubt people are having picnics on the side of the road. Are they drinking? And driving?
