Dry-tooling Tower in Booze-mon Ice Fest

So, would it not be cool to have an artificial dry-tooling tower in downtown Boooze-mon during the Bozeman Ice Festival? I was in Chamonix in February for the Nissan Outdoor Games, they had a tower for the athletes to compete/climb on with plastic holds for dry-tooling and ice features created from ice mined from the artificial ice-tower at Gorzderette. Hundreds of French people showed up to watch in the evening, I never had so much fun. The tower was construction scaffolding with panels bolted on, plastic holds for dry-tooling and ice features. Everybody got 5 minutes to climb, although you could train/rehearse in advance, this is all about the spectacle. Well? Rob

Awesome thread Rob. This would be a great addition to the winter festivities. I set a comp in Hokkaido, Japan. Perhaps we can get our friends in construction to loan us scaffolding. It is winter and if it is just sitting around we might be able to trade out or rent for a discount. Whoa! Cool course! Next year don't forget to invite me to japan, dry-tooling and Kirin beer, just my thing... Yes, let's make this happen at Bozeman, I'll even arrive early to help get the thing ready. The tower doesn't need to be big to be bad, just nefarious!
