Any Good Ice

For all the Missoulians climbing on tribal land they are checking permits this week.  Just a reminder to have it on you.

i went out to Bear Creek two days ago and then again today.  the ice was not in for the most part.  quite rotten and scary.

it melted out quite a bit between the past 2 days.  surprising considering the colder temps...  south-facing ice needs it to be really cold.

There is plenty of ice in right now, it appears as though finley was saved by the inversion during those otherwise warm days. I was at mission on thursday, this was before these recent cold temps and stuff was really wet. It seems like it had been hit more by the recent warm temperatures. We were at the whispering ice area and some of the ice was getting a bit rotten or super wet. But I think these cold temps will solve those problems. Roads are all icy but manageable. Hope that helps!
