shimmy shakedown

went to check out the shimmy today w/ t bowman. neither knowing what to expect, but finding full adventure.  a wi2 intro gains a great belay ledge, however marginal gear. 5.8-9 intro moves lead to the cicle where one should stay right in the corner. a fixed pin can be backed up, and hopefully coerce the leader into steep bulges with good stems.  a good rest alleviates the pump and prepares one for a fantastic path up random cobbles and an ice filled chimney.  fantastic line.  gear: exxtra stubbies, stoppers, single set from .3 to "1 camalot. 2 rope rap from v-thread to ground
