did dribbles yesterday. approach was an easy to follow boot pack. the ice on the first pitch and a half had a 2in. layer of really brittle sun-leached ice. good ice underneath, but don't trust the shell! the second pitch was the best ice on the route, plastic and fun for the most part. the third pitch started out on good ice but just after half way the ice got thin and hollow, kinda sketchy. the final little pitch was more of the same as the first pitch and the top-out was on unconsolidated scree with a couple inches of snow on top, exciting! over-all it was really fun, just heads-up! i also replaced the first tree rap anchor of the descent with phatty cordalette and a rap ring. cheers!
