Hyalite Road Conditions

Any body been up Hyalite in the last week who can give me a road report. A Blackmore ski report would be great also.

Was up there on Sunday, hasn't been much action since then, I'd say you should have no problem at all as far as the roads go. Can't help you with the ski report though... have fun!

So Matt K and I went up Monday in my 97 Subaru with minor problems. We headed towards Palisde Falls/Flanders drainage only had problems 20 minutes walk away from the Palisde parking lot. I believe I got stuck simply cause I didn't stay in the ruts (well duh). By the time we left, the road was well tracked out and we had no problem leaving. If no new snow falls, your Subaru should be fine, though I'd still bring all the items to unstick your car. Speaking of unsticking the car, anybody know where I can buy 10 foot wide, 30 feet long roll of used/dead/ugly carpet? I'm thinking that laying this carpet down for the car to drive on would be better then using planks of wood.
