Looking for a Partner

Hey everybody, Just moved to Helena from the west coast, and I looking to get out this winter (esp. while the skiing sucks!). I've been climbing for 7 years, mostly rock/alpine. I've done alot of climbing/mountineering in the Sierras. I'm a safe climber and don't mind long horrific approaches. I haven't done much ice, but have all the gear, and am willing to be the belay slave while I learn. I'm also looking to get out on the rock this spring (or winter, the way it's going) Mike

I'm also in Helena and need a climbing partner. I've been ice climbing around 8 or 9 times a year (mainly Hyalite, Pine Creek, and Cataract) for the last 4 years. I've been rock climbing four 10 years. In the warmer months, besides climbing in Montana, I've been going to Rainier, the Tetons, Bugaboos, and Mount Whitney. There are still many routes I'd like to do in these and other areas. Some specific routes on my list are Beckey Chouinard on South Howser, Liberty Ridge, Climbing routes on Whitney, North Face of the Grand, Cowen, Wilbur, Robson, Temple, etc., etc. (so many routes, so little time). I also have all the gear. Let's talk.

I am always looking for partners in Helena. Got gear and experience. Would be willing to car pool or climb or both. Could use some helena partners. Been out lots this year already. Let me know........
