Rocky Mtn. Front Ice

Went on the rocky mtn. front tour on Saturday 12/23 looking for ice. We made it to Crown Mtn. Falls and Cataract falls outside of Augusta. Roads were good (but icy) to both climbs. Neither climb was in, although both were fairly close. I'd say with a week of cold temps both would be good to go. Left side of Crown mtn. falls might already be topropable-? A bit thin to lead. JC

Climbed Crown Mtn. Falls Sunday 1/14. I suspect if it is formed (but thin on the right) Cataract is formed as well. JC

It's nice to see stuff about the front here, after all it is Montana - Ice. Make this thread BIG so the Front gets its place with the ice conditions NOT THE SPRAY. Anybody seen how the climbs up by Bynum are doing?

Snarg... I couldn't agree more! Being the good man that Jim is maybe he'll consider making The Front it's own forum. I think that way we'd hopefully get a little more traffic on the site specifically regarding the climbs in that area.
