On Sunday Dave, Dano, Mark and I went up to the west rosebud and had a look around. I rapped into The Spillway and found the route in pretty poor conditions. So we headed on back down the trail and climbed Anti-Duct. The ice was dry and a bit brittle and Dave had a nice lead on the crux pillar. On Monday, Dave and I climbed Spaghetti Falls and found thin steep ice for 20 feet down low, then super sticky ice for the rest of the route. Dan and Mark reported similar sticky conditions on Upper Rosebud Falls and great climbing. Cali Ice looked thin but probably good to go. None the the climbs lower in the East Rosebud looked in good condition. Definetly a fun couple days in the Beartooths.

Mystically
on recon 2 Nov 2009, the Anti-Duct was thin, but fully formed. Oh and that climb by Mystic; Ignorance/Stupidity? is a gift is formed up in pretty good shape. Its just up past the creek crossings, not too far off the trail in the scheme of things.
