Kandersteg, Switzerland

Submitted by conrad on Mon, 02/09/2009 - 18:17

After a trade show in Munich I took the night train to meet up with Tim Seipel, a Bozeman climber living in Zurich. He is studying for his PhD in Biology. His wife Katie works as a substitute teacher.

Kandersteg is Switzerland's premier ice locale. Lots of steep stuff on good limestone. This year was a banner year.

This is 'Crack Baby' a fun route similar to the Terminator in Canada.
