Lets Hear It!

With the road open there HAS to be lots of people up climbing in Hyalite. Lets hear some stories, see some pictures. Any cool pitches or otherwise rarely done routes getting ticked? My shoulder is still hooped so I need to live vicariously. It will be good to build on the positive energy we've created over the road being open. Onward, JoJo

I've been climbing in Hyalite every weekend since i moved here (about a month and a half ago) I started the season out with Twin Falls (it was about the only ice out there when at the time) Since then i've done, Scepter and Mummy Cooler II (at the ice festival) and Champaign Sherbet twice, Champaign Slot, Thin Chance, Fat Chance, Horsetail Falls, Slight of Hand, and tomorrow i'm planning on visiting the Dribbles and maybe Silken Falls if all goes well. I've got some pretty amature shots of Twin, Champaign Sherbet and Thin Chance I'll share... Like i said not great photos, but not bad for a belay point and shoot.. This is my second season climbing and its been a blast! Hope for many more to come. Cheers!

Climbed the Dribbles on Sat. the 5th. Lots of swirling spindrift and snowy conditions. The sun came out only on the rap down. Moved over and climbed Silken Falls, nice wet, blue and yellow hero ice on the second pitch. Upper Avi was in, not sure about the crux curtain below. Cleo's is coming up a bit shorter than usual.
