Hope the fires don't make too much of a change to the Hyalite scenario. Or maybe if the drainage burns up we'll have the awesome gray translucent climbs.
Just bored and in the airport. Need something steep.
Hello all,
I was just surfing the web this morning and stumbled on to this site; of course the images and route descriptions caused a flood of ice-bourne memories to cascade through my head. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the Bozeman so I have to experience Hyalite vicariously through my old friends and acquaintances. I just want everyone to know that I wish you well and cherish the memories of getting cold, wet, and mortally frightened on many an adventure.
May the dark rock corner that you've been spying finally ice up, and hopefully that pillar of your dreams will finally touch down (or not depending on your inclination).
A special hello to Rich Searle, JoJo, the "young guns" (R. Lynn, the Magros), Kris Erickson, Jim "the Duke" Earl, Mr. Tapley, Kalakay, Conrad, and any other whom I can't remember at this pre-caffiene hour.
