last weekend revealed some surprisingly nice ice on mt cannon and other areas in gnp, the snow is gross in places and we saw little signs of the snow pack coming down the mountain, there has only been one day of sun for the past coupla weeks...have fun....

Does anyone know what the conditions are like, any vertical ice left?

Saw a picture of a guy climbing on ice there. Does anyone have any info?

Koocanusa road cut is in, the main as well as the shorter ones to the north. Badrock is in but needs to build more as does the Heights.

Climbed Cataract near Augusta on Sunday the 11th. This is how it looked. It was pretty drippy with temps around 40 degrees. The road was in good shape. maybe we need to sacrifice a small animal or something, but there is no ice in anywhere. the east side is showing promise.......hiked in to some stuff above st. mary's & some climbs were touching, but pretty unclimbable. i visited snyder, avalanche, brown & canon late last week with nothing but running water....................pray for a cold snap! cheers, justin

I hiked in on the 8th. Nothing at all. It looked like there might have been something higher.

It is looking good, from Mount Brown looking at the north side of Edwards there is quite alot of ice forming. I coudn't see the entire face, but what I did see was a handful of smears all with considerable amounts of ice. Definatly not much is happening below snow line, but around 7000 to 7500 ft is where it starts looking nice.

Has anyone climbed Birdwoman Falls this season and does anyone know its current conditions?
